Seamless Integration

Projector easily integrates with your organization's existing systems, including time recording, human resources, project management and accounting.

Automated QuickBooks and Great Plains interfaces

From Projector’s Integration Console, Projector can synchronize itself with QuickBooks and Microsoft Great Plains by supplying those applications with the appropriate A/P, A/R, and G/L transactions. This lets Projector manage the details of expense reports, invoices, and time cards, while letting finance use QuickBooks or Great Plains to pay expense reports, track invoice collection, and account for labor hours – all without duplicate data entry. The QuickBooks interface also allows easy import, export, and ongoing synchronization of QuickBooks' customers and vendors with Projector's clients and resources. This interface uses QuickBooks’ new XML and Great Plains' eConnect integration technology.

Semi-automated interfaces for any accounting system

The same accounting transactions used in automated interfaces are also available in spreadsheet format so that you can enter A/P, A/R, and G/L transactions into your accounting system without duplicate data entry.

Custom automated interfaces for any accounting system

Using Projector’s web services, you or Projector PSA can build an automated interface to your accounting system, taking into consideration your specific business needs.

Pre-built interface to salesforce.com

For many organizations, the first system that knows about a new client or project is a sales force automation application such as salesforce.com. Projector's pre-built interface to salesforce.com Enterprise Edition allows users to easily see which accounts and opportunities have already been entered into Projector and to quickly import new ones in just a few clicks. This integration eliminates redundant data entry and potential errors since it copies over account, opportunity, and address information, and it even can preserve the complex multi-level client hierarchies that can be modeled in salesforce.com.

Data feeds

Projector communicates with your other information systems via a web services interface.

You can add or update:

  • Resources
  • Resource time-off
  • Clients
  • Engagements
  • Projects
  • Foreign exchange rates
  • Actual time and cost data

In addition, you can export:

  • Client and project listings
  • Time and expense data
  • Analytical data for analysis outside of Projector
  • Rate card and resource cost data
  • Project rates
  • Information about resources and their scheduled time off
  • Project assignments
  • A/P, A/R, and G/L transactions

External authentication

Projector can interface with an external authentication server such as LDAP or Active Directory via web services to allow login information to be stored in a single centralized location within your organization.
